Banshee launching is one of the best things in Halo that sends you really high.
It's very easy...Really easy....

1. Get a Rocket Launcher and Oversheilds.
   
2. Get a Banshee
3. Get the Banshee upside-down.
4. Jump on one of the wings to make it tip over in that direction.
5. Jump on the round end of the Banshee wing.
6. Now use the Rocket Launcher to shoot the other round part at the other end.
7. Have fun.

Banshee Launching is used to get to almost every single high spot in multiplayer Halo.
I am not exaggerating how high you go.
